National Merit Scholarship Program recognizes USL student

In University School’s 10th anniversary year, our first high school class will graduate in May. It is only fitting, therefore, that the first member of USL’s high school, senior Allison Horan, would be our first recipient of a National Merit Scholarship Program Commended Student award for the 2017 competition. Commended Students placed in the top 5% of the more than 1.6 million students who entered the competition by taking the 2015 PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test). To learn more about Allison’s experience at USL, please see this October 26, 2016. article from the Moultrie News about her. Congratulations, Allison! Kudos also to classmate Anne Adragna for her outstanding performance, placing in the top 6%!
